Kal Teaux is a protest songwriter from Albany, NY. Inspired by the likes of Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez and Pete Seeger, Kal’s music brings the historic spirit of labor organizing and protest music to the modern day.

Between touring, Kal produces two monthly shows in New York City. The Socialist Variety Hour is an old-fashioned variety show, featuring comedians, musicians, magicians, all while raising money for a Brooklyn shelter and food pantry. The New Folk Revival is a musical showcase, featuring inspired, heartfelt songwriters, which raises money for the Amazon Labor Union. In September 2023, Kal produced the first New Folk Revival Festival, featuring 20+ acts throughout the weekend.
